Giloy is a climbing shrub that grows on other trees. In India, it is widely called Guduchi. Giloy contains unisexual flowers, male flowers are clustered and female flowers are solitary. The leaves of this plant are heart-shaped and green in color. The giloy stem is the most widely used part of this herb. The Gilroy fruit is in the form of a trope, which turns red after ripening. All parts of this plant such as leaves, flowers, stems, and roots are used as medicine.
